# Asset provenance

The fictional Canyon Club villa, fixtures and curved slide were authored for this project in Blender. This is a development model, not construction documentation. No listing photographs or purchased assets are embedded.

## Poly Haven assets (CC0)

- [White Plaster 02](https://polyhaven.com/a/white_plaster_02) and [Concrete Floor 02](https://polyhaven.com/a/concrete_floor_02), Rob Tuytel.
- [Wood Table 001](https://polyhaven.com/a/wood_table_001), Dimitrios Savva and Rico Cilliers.
- [Namaqualand Boulder 05](https://polyhaven.com/a/namaqualand_boulder_05), Dario Barresi and Jenelle van Heerden. Scanned in South Africa; used as landscaping, not represented as a Sedona scan.
- [Shrub 04](https://polyhaven.com/a/shrub_04), Rico Cilliers. Scaled and instanced.
- [Aerial Rocks 02](https://polyhaven.com/a/aerial_rocks_02), ground texture.
- [Quarry 01](https://polyhaven.com/a/quarry_01), lighting environment, not a Sedona photographic backdrop.

## Regional terrain

Mapzen Terrain Tiles; United States 3DEP and global GMTED2010/SRTM terrain data courtesy of the U.S. Geological Survey. [Dataset](https://registry.opendata.aws/terrain-tiles/) · [Attribution](https://github.com/tilezen/joerd/blob/master/docs/attribution.md).

Regional elevation tiles around Sedona were decoded into a mesh. The model uses a fictional site origin, flattens the immediate villa platform, simplifies the browser mesh, and applies authored colors. No satellite imagery is included. The scene does not locate the reference rental, establish a surveyed parcel, or imply USGS endorsement.

## Detailed indoor furnishings (CC0)

- [Modern Arm Chair 01](https://polyhaven.com/a/modern_arm_chair_01), Vibrant Nordic; two lounge chairs.
- [Dining Chair 02](https://polyhaven.com/a/dining_chair_02), James Ray Cock; ten dining chairs.
- [Bar Chair Round 01](https://polyhaven.com/a/bar_chair_round_01), Dairon Sanchez; four island stools.

All imported from Poly Haven glTF assets with 2K maps. Original geometry and texture coordinates retained; models centered, placed and instanced. Per-file sizes and MD5 hashes verified against the official API and stored with source manifests in the working assets folder. No purchase, paid service or listing image reuse.

The browser contact-shading and antialiasing helpers are official Three.js r128 examples (EffectComposer, Pass, ShaderPass, SSAOPass, SSAOShader, SimplexNoise, CopyShader, GammaCorrectionShader and FXAAShader), under the bundled Three.js MIT license.

## Outdoor furnishing and planting pass (CC0)

- [Outdoor Table Chair Set 01](https://polyhaven.com/a/outdoor_table_chair_set_01), James Ray Cock. Chair geometry used for terrace dining.
- [Shrub 02](https://polyhaven.com/a/shrub_02), Rico Cilliers. Four scanned variants arranged in landscape groups.
- [Pine Sapling Small](https://polyhaven.com/a/pine_sapling_small), photographs by Rob Tuytel, modeling by Rico Cilliers. Three variants used for ornamental planting.
- Modern Arm Chair 01 is also used in the fire lounge, with an authored light-upholstery material variant.

These are landscape/design assets, not a claim of a surveyed native-plant inventory at a real Sedona property. Files and hashes were checked against the Poly Haven API. Native authoring and export retain the source texture coordinates.

## Fictional distant environment

`assets/sedona-fictional-panorama.png` was generated with the built-in OpenAI image-generation tool for this project. It depicts an imagined Sedona-style desert setting; it is not a photograph, surveyed site, or reconstruction of the reference rental. The villa, pool, court, furnishings and selectable fixtures remain separately authored 3D geometry. The original regional elevation mesh is preserved in the working scene but excluded from the updated beauty view. Original generation prompt is recorded in `assets/sedona-fictional-panorama-prompt.txt`.

## Original installation sound

The walkthrough uses quiet synthesized two-note installation chimes, generated locally by `work/sedona/make_chimes.py`. No third-party recording, voice or stock music is used.
