Short-Term Rental Sales Representative

Independent contractor (1099) · Commission only · Remote, United States

Introduce short-term rental owners to a free, property-specific Preliminary Benefit Estimate, and guide the owners who fit through to a signed engagement.

What you'll do
  • Reach short-term rental owners (Airbnb, VRBO, and similar hosts) by phone, email, and direct message.
  • Walk each owner through their Preliminary Benefit Estimate clearly and patiently.
  • Qualify fit honestly; tell owners plainly when the benefit does not clear the bar.
  • Explain the short-term rental tests, such as average stay and material participation, as rules, and point questions about an owner's own return to the owner's CPA.
  • Keep your own follow-up organized across an active pipeline.
  • Hand signed clients cleanly to fulfillment.
What we're looking for
  • Consultative sales experience with owners or small-business operators.
  • Comfortable explaining a financial concept simply, in plain English.
  • Self-directed: as an independent contractor you run your own schedule and pipeline.
  • Organized follow-up discipline; you never let a warm lead go cold.
  • Familiarity with short-term rentals, as an owner, a manager, or a seller to hosts, is a plus.
  • Real estate or tax-adjacent background is a plus.
Location and hours

Fully remote. Independent contractors may work from anywhere in the United States and set their own schedule.

Compensation

Commission only, paid as an independent contractor (1099). You earn a commission on each study you close; terms are shared in the first conversation. There is no base salary.
